Quick Interview with Dylan Ness

Here with Dylan Ness after a big pin against Rutgers setting Minnesota on its come from behind win.
T-W: It seems like that’s a new counter technique for you?
DN: Before when I countered I’d look to elevate but the last couple weeks I’ve changed it up. Looking for a cradle.
T-W: How did you pick that counter? Did you see it you when David Taylor used it on Jordan Burroughs?
DN: Yep I saw that match, that’s where I got it.
T-W: How do you deal with the pressure of being the #1 ranked wrestler at 157?
DN: I don’t look at it as pressure I go out there and wrestle for the Lord.
T-W: What age did you do start wrestling?
DN: Maybe three? I started crawling on the mat chasing my brother Jason.
T-W: What do you love about the sport?
DN: Everything – I love everything about the sport.
T-W: Do you and your brother ever get after it in the wrestling room? Does it ever get chippy?
DN: We have a great bond from the sport of wrestling.
T-W: Your style is very entertaining and is good for the sport keep it up. Thanks for the time good luck this year.
