A team of Midshipmen traveled into the Lehigh Valley today and found out why Lehigh is so highly ranked this season. Nearly 1,400 fans got to watch Lehigh put on another display of talent and depth. Even Mountainhawk backups knocked off their foes. DC opened the dual up with a fall and got the fans into to it early. Farro held on to a victory further fueling the crowd but it was when Luke Karam pinned Gil during a scoreless match that the Snake Pit erupted. From there Schuyler had his second quality win of the weekend knocking off a tough Jared Prince. Brown knocked off a ranked foe with a physical and aggressive approach. All in all it was a great day to be a Mountainhawk fan although there should have been a bigger crowd. I wonder if Eastern PA knows that Lehigh is one of the best teams in the country?? Someone better get the word out…
You can see Lehigh in action next at Cornell January 19th and Navy is at American on January 19th.

Official, Kevin Neville did a reasonable job controlling the match. I questioned a couple of calls, only one of which was captured well on my highlights. You make the call.
