#20 Iowa State Stops Rider 29-17 Highlights and Interviews

Videos in process

In a match that featured a bonus points in 8 of the 10 bouts there wasn’t a dull moment. ISU opened up strong at 125 but both wrestlers lost a team point for unsportsmanlike behavior at the close of the match. You can make the call watching the video. Rider bounced back with Anthony Cefolo getting a fall over #7 Austin Gomez. This is Cefolo’s highest ranked win of his career and has to be the upset of the week. ISU reeled off 3 straight wins after that. While some of the Rider wrestlers looked flat their 3 wins were all dynamic falls. If George Walton could have sealed the deal with a cradle the dual could have gone to criteria. While there was some sloppy wrestling ISU looked tough and physical and was flat out more aggressive than Rider.

Post-match interviews: Anthony Cefolo, Jesse Dellavecchia, Sam Colbray, Willie Miklus, Ryan Cloud, Rider Coach John Hangey and Cyclone Coach Kevin Dresser.
